Can you make a blog where you don't have to blog?
Welcome to Social Media Ideas. My first idea is to make a blog for nonprofits that requires minimal to no blog entry. It's basically a blog that runs off RSS feeds. If you are a ocean-related nonprofit, just paste in the different RSS feeds from organizations like NOAA. http://oceanservice.noaa.gov/rss.html
